I'm glad I guinea pig'd it for you, and saved you trouble on the one part, you might've been making an insurance claim otherwise.  that's where all my screw driver throwing happened.  The rest wasn't bad besides adjusting it to fit flush.  It did have to come off and go on a few times

Looks good on the crew too.  :headbang2:  Did it sit flush at both sides?  I shimmed mine out with plastic washers.

I'm already wondering what else I can powder coat to color match.

Mine fit flush the first time. The plastic clip broke on mine and those torn had to come out on one side to get the stupid liner to even move a bit. It was so dumb lol

Broke 70,000 kms on the weekend. Took off the Flakens/beadlocks and tossed my Coopers back on. Also removed the retrofits and drls and put the stockers back on. Finally put an order in for a Engel MR040F-U1, and picking it up tuesday/weds.

Drove out to the west end, changed my oil and picked up a Canon 40mm lens. Been wanting to try this out for a while but kept putting it off. Found a really good deal on kijiji, so I went to pick it up. Then I headed south to Rock'n Wash and burnt off the rest of the gift card I picked up at WCSM. Gave the lens a whirl indoors as I couldn't really used my 85mm for these kind of shots. No complaints here, it's a nice carry around. Also sold the light bar.

Well my vinyl decal (the badger) on the rear window was starting to lift on the fine lines... Time to redo stickers.

Using one from a local tuner meet I was at, but it just wasn't quite right... So I used an appropriate sticker to fix it.  Much better  :headbang2:

Oh, and an oil change with the longer oil filter, mobile 1

Ive done a few things over the last few days. On Sunday I finally got around to installing the antenna adaptor for the deck I put in over a year ago. Started removing the plasti dip from the stereo bezel and vents as it's starting to fade terribly, will properly paint them this time. Also swapped out the stock hvac knobs for some orange ones i picked up off the FB page some time ago.

Yesterday I picked up a used Truxedo lo pro tonneau cover for dirt cheap. Its in rough shape but still very useable and installed it after work this morning. Along with the cover I got one of those plastic fake diamond plate tailgate caps, haven't installed it yet.

Sorry for no pics, I have to find a new hosting site.

I found a buyer for some suspension parts I acquired awhile ago, so I'm gonna be driving down to Calgary to deliver them this long weekend.

Hopefully if all goes well *crosses fingers* pretty soon I will be able to order some custom rims that I've been interested in getting for my truck.

Got impatient and tried to mount my CVT awning lower and keep it angled while I wait for brackets. Didn't work, as the side brace bars don't angle up that well. Once I mount it higher, I can then try out the full bug mesh surround I also have for it.

The brackets didn't look like they would work, but they were the best option I could find. Had to drill out some holes and use my own bolts but I wasn't happy with how secure everything ended up being, so I took it all off. Going to wait a couple weeks and try the brackets out on a different rack.

Picked up a longer rack today in Calgary. It sits a couple inches lower than my current rack but that's fine. The rack itself just sits under the third brake light. I put my front runner load bars on top with my little pipe clamps so I can use my tent mount brackets. That spaces the tent up to where it was before roughly, maybe an inch lower. However, the tent brackets leave just enough space that I can mount the rhino rack foxwing brackets securely and not worry about the tent sitting on any bolt heads. So win win. Now I just need to decide on either bolting the rack right to the bed or getting some canopy clamps and seeing if that option works out.

On my way back I hit 11.37L/100kms (20.64 MPG) with the rack on the truck, and AC on. Cruising 8% over the speed limit (and getting passed by RCMP), with some heavy acceleration.

Holy fuck, tonight sucked. Went out to St. Albert trail to pick up a new camera lens (Tamron 24-70). On my way home I decided to check out the old asbestos hospital and see if I could get it in the background. As I'm turning right, I heard a loud bang. So I pull over and look under the truck. The driver's side CV boot was torn apart. I know I'm cranked up front to clear 33's but my angles weren't terrible. I've been meaning to crank the truck down again anyway, so I figure no biggie. I'll do that tonight before getting the front end fixed.

So I drive home, and crank my front end down 4 turns, and go for a drive. I hear a bang again as I'm turning. I look, and nothing. The front end is fine minus the grease. Whatever I measure the truck, and go for another quick drive. Stop again at now my diff side angle is lower than the tire side. So I give the front end a solid turn and measure again. Things seem good, and the measurements look good. So I figure fuck it, drive home and hit up the dealership tomorrow.

As I'm driving home I hear a terrible crunching noise and now I'm thinking the CV axle is pooched. Great... I pull over and look at the axle and my sway bar is lodged right inside the boot, scraping the axle. Both times I looked under the front end, the sway bar was sprayed with grease but sitting in its spot. So sheer bad luck, I didn't see it was the cause of the damage, to begin with. So I zip-tied (roadkill!) the sway bar end to my tie rod after prying it out, and drove home. So yeah pretty annoyed, but it could've been worse.

Thats a nice get'er home fix. The charles camsell hospital is in the process of being torn down. Most of the interior walls are demoed already. I think they are waiting on permits to finish tearing it down.

I picked up a spare set of OEM all-weather floor mats from MountainMan on the weekend. I'm probably gonna swap my carpet floor mats out for them come winter time to make them stay nicer longer. I'm sure everybody knows how hard it is trying to clean salt stains off carpet in vehicles come spring time.

I found a buyer for some suspension parts I acquired awhile ago, so I'm gonna be driving down to Calgary to deliver them this long weekend.

Hopefully if all goes well *crosses fingers* pretty soon I will be able to order some custom rims that I've been interested in getting for my truck.

I took advantage of a Labor Day sale at 4-Wheel Parts this long weekend and ordered a set of 17" x 8.5" Method Race Wheels - Matte Black - Grid 309's for my truck along with an extra one to use as a full-size spare tire.
